Difference Between Roof Pump System vs. 12 Volt System

What are the differences between a Roof Pump soft wash system and a 12 volt soft wash system?

Well there are quite a few differences.

Roof pump soft wash systems like the P40 for example is much larger than a 12 volt pump and is usually powered by a gas engine. This allows for much more flow and a slightly higher psi than 12 volts. These machines can usually shoot up to 70 feet horizontally and 40-50 feet vertically. The flow ranges from 10-14 GPM with a psi of around 300-500.

12 volt systems like an Everflo 7 GPM pump are a lot smaller and powered by a battery. The downside for this, is you'll have to keep charging the battery often. These systems can usually shoot about 15-25 feet in the air and about 20-30 feet across with a davis shooter tip attached to your gun. If you decided to plump two of these pumps together and add larger hoses, you'll be able to shoot up to about 40 feet and across about 60 feet. The flow is doesn't range and is directly proportionate to the pump you're using and usually has a psi of around 200-300.
